From a young age, I immersed myself in the realm of physical training, initiating my journey at the age of 14, and have continued this pursuit for the past 12 years. Growing up, sports and athletics were integral aspects of my life, fostering a deep-seated passion for fitness.

Navigating through the abundance of information available on the internet regarding training methodologies, weight loss strategies, and nutrition, I often found myself feeling overwhelmed. This sense of confusion prompted my desire to offer support to individuals navigating their own fitness journeys.

The turning point that spurred me into action was encapsulated in a quote that resonated deeply with me: “Learn to live and not exist.” Amongst a crucial crossroad in my life, when I found myself in a dark place, working in a job that no longer fulfilled me and lacking a clear sense of direction, this quote became a catalyst for change. Determined to pursue something meaningful and purposeful, I decided to channel my passion for fitness into a profession that would not only bring personal fulfillment but also allow me to support others on their transformative journeys.

Growing up, I have consistently been recognized as a dedicated enthusiast of physical fitness, often referred to as the 'gym junkie.' Over time, many of my pupils have sought my advice on health and fitness matters, prompting me to contemplate transforming my passion into a professional pursuit. From an early age, my passion for health, nutrition, and fitness has been a driving force. However, my ultimate aspiration has always been to assist and support others, providing not only guidance but also fostering an environment where individuals feel heard, supported, educated, and, above all, enjoy the journey to optimal well-being.

Personal experience

At a remarkably young age, specifically at 11, I grappled with severe body image issues that manifested in harmful behaviours such as self-imposed starvation and excessive training. While the methods I initially employed were not conducive to a healthy lifestyle, this early struggle profoundly shaped my present identity and the trajectory of my journey toward physical and mental well-being.

Reflecting on those challenging times, I acknowledge that my journey began from a place of negativity. However, it served as a powerful catalyst for transformation. Over time, I acquired a comprehensive understanding of proper training methodologies and the importance of a balanced approach to weight management. My journey led me to evolve beyond the initial focus on weight loss, emphasizing instead the significance of eating for performance and embracing strength training for overall well-being.

I have discovered that strength training can serve as a powerful tool, offering a straightforward and effective means to instigate one’s transformative journey. My prior experience in network marketing served as a pivotal moment in the introduction to personal development. This exposure significantly influenced my perspective on business, self-growth, and my approach to assisting others. The insights gained during my time in network marketing equipped me with a comprehensive understanding of the business landscape and honed my interpersonal skills.
 
Incorporating the principle of ‘Kaizen’ into my philosophy has been insightful. This concept, emphasising continuous improvement, resonates deeply with my commitment to ongoing refinement in both personal and professional aspects. My commitment to personal development provided me with a rich understanding of human behaviour, enabling me to facilitate transformative change by addressing mindset, beliefs, and actions in the realms of fitness, health, and personal growth.
